This sounds like a similar problem I've had a few times, usually signing out (of Windows) and signing back in again resolves this for me.Īlso, it does seem like windows updates cause issues with the Nvidia graphics cards at times, I removed the latest windows update just a week ago as it caused this problem, now I've turned off auto updates for now.9 06:34:38 50170609 148 Send patching protocol version 5ĩ 06:34:39 50170812 1b7 Web root: ĩ 06:34:39 50170812 1b8 Backup Web root: ĩ 06:34:39 50170812 1c3 Requesting root contents 1ĩ 06:34:39 50171015 1ed Got file list for "" 0ĩ 06:34:39 50171031 24b Finished checking filesĩ 06:34:40 50172546 fc Changing to device "Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)"ĩ 06:34:41 50173203 8d Enumerated adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770ĩ 06:34:41 50173281 241 Enumerated device for adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770.

I've tried completely clearing my AppData, holding shift, alt, shift+alt during boot - nothing works! The update completely broke. It's eating all my cpu cycles and is literally unusable:

The program in task manager does not show the whole program as "not responding" but it does show on one of the sub-tasks in ID. For me, I'll launch ID and get pass the splash screen and land on the recent documents screen then I get about 30sec of stutter with my mouse and the program completely freezes and cannot be closed unless I kill it in task manager.
